Aviation Program
Vermont's Agency of Transportation Aviation Program supports, maintains, and enhances the public use airport system in the state. The Aviation Program strives to promote efficient and effective air transportation of goods and people to support Vermont’s business and recreational activities in an environmentally safe manner. The program involves several outreach programs such as Aviation Career Education and the Vermont Aviation Advisory Council. The program works with Emergency Management to provide support in emergency or disaster situations. The program is also developing airport business plans to help generate additional revenue and make the airport system more self supporting.
Commercial airlines serve Vermont at both the Burlington International Airport and the Southern Vermont Regional Airport. Please visit their websites to learn more.
