International Aviation Art Contest
The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTRANS) is pleased to invite youth ages 6-17 to explore their love for aviation and art by entering the International Aviation Art Contest.
Artwork will be judged, according to age group, in part for its creative use in relation to the aviation world. All children are encouraged to participate, even if they are related to officials or employees of any city, state, federal or international aviation organization. VTRANS Aviation will judge entries on the state level. The top three state winners will go on to compete for the national awards in Washington, D.C. Winners of the national competition will vie for international honors at the FAI headquarters.
The contest is sponsored by the National Association of State Aviation Officials Center for Aviation Research and Education. Details about this year's contest, the current theme, and the application form can be found at the NASAO website: NASAO Aviation Education
To enter the contest, print out the Application form, fill it out, and mail it with your artwork to the address listed below. If you don't have Adobe Reader to download the application, then you need to download the FREE Adobe Reader. A link to this can be found in the left pane.
Entries must be postmarked and sent to VTRANS Aviation in January, and sent to:
